This photo album expresses the view of young people towards numerous issues in their community. With the eyes of human rights defenders they explore various topics that they consider important and in need of attention, empathy and urgent measures to improve the lives of both vulnerable groups of the population and the community as a whole.
Human Rights Lens is a project that encourages young people to explore human rights. This project, led by the Partners Bulgaria Foundation in partnership with the Academy of Human Rights, Norway, supports teachers and educational experts in the community who not only care about children’s education but also encourage them to create change, to openly talk and work for the world they want to live in. This is an active creative approach to human rights education at times when children around the world are increasingly concerned about issues such as poverty, climate change and inequality. Equipped with their cameras young people reveal the manifestations of different types of discrimination and injustice.
The authors of the Photoalbum are students from Blagoevgrad, Gotse Delchev, Montana, Varshets and Sofia.
